Kathryn Julia, LMT
● Massage Therapist
● Reiki Master
● Holistic Peer Counselor
● Emotional Release Facilitator
● Prenatal, Postpartum, & Infant Massage Instructor ● Doula
● Certified Pediatric Massage Therapist
Kathryn has been a professional Massage Therapist since 1978. Her main modality is full body relaxation massage. In this way we can access our ‘oxytocin’, which is the hormone that brings about healing, learning and balance. She has been educated in and practices massage for newborns, infants, pediatrics, prenatal and postpartum moms, geriatric and humanity in general.
She had a deep curiosity about the human condition and through her education in body work and exploring the Spirit through the Arica Institute and Siddha Yoga she had come to her core belief that we are Spiritual Beings in a physical body. Therefore we can access the Spirit through the body. When we have mental and emotional disturbances/imbalances it interrupts our connection with Spirit. Bodywork is a way to bring about balance and connection with body/mind/emotions/Spirit. She has developed the understanding that the energy of Spirit is
LOVE ❤️. Self Love, Love of others, Love of our environment and Love of our human experience.

Dr. Gene Ang PhD
Program: HHP Quantum Spoon Bending / Energy Healing
- Gene was formally trained as a Neurobiologist at Yale University where he earned his doctorate in basic mechanisms of how the brain develops followed by a post-doctoral fellowship on how ultrasound can affect the developing cerebral cortex. After his post-doctoral fellowship, Gene decided to step into the role of a facilitator of healing in order to directly interact with helping people
- Most of his work centers around the use of subtle energy to help align the subtle energy body, its channels, meridians, and energy centers to help restore balance and harmony so that healing can occur whether it be physical, emotional, mental, and/or spiritual
- Gene does not see himself as the healer but simply as part of the interconnectedness that occurs when facilitator, client, and Source/Love/God interact to bring healing forth. He sees his teaching engagements and seminars as an extension of this interaction that occurs on multiple dimensions to bring wholeness and understanding to all involved.

I have 35 years of experience in the field of manual therapy.
Over the years I’ve studied many different manual therapy modalities.
I listen to the body and utilize what the Body is calling for in order to implement the various manual techniques.
Bodywork can consist of mainly all manual therapy, or it can be energetic work or deep emotional work depending on how your body specifically is directing the session”

Certified Crystal Healing Teacher by The Crystal Academy of Advanced Healing Arts – Kauai
Program: HHP Crystal Healing
> I’m originally from Brazil, however I’ve been “called” to Kauai in 1996, where I completed beginning, intermediate and advanced crystal healing classes w/ founder of The Crystal Academy of Advanced Healing Arts: Katrina Raphaell.
> This event completely changed my life as I started on this amazing spiritual path. I always knew I was here to help people, just wasn’t clear how. I’m also a psychologist, having obtained my degree in São Paulo, Brazil prior to moving to Kauai.
> I later took a teacher’s training course, also on Kauai, and became a crystal healing teacher. I have taught in Brazil a few times, and more recently here in Oahu, at Quantum School of Massage and Holistic Health.
> Crystal healing affects all of our bodies, physical, mental, emotional and spiritual. It’s all about light, color and frequency. Crystals placed on the body resonate with our auric field, assisting in clearing blockages that have accumulated in certain areas due traumatic events over the years. Unprocessed emotions can cause energy to get stuck in certain places and stop the natural flow of chi through the chakra system.
> We are also collectively experiencing a deep paradigm shift currently on the planet, signaling the end of an era and beginning of a new one, an age of Light and this can cause challenges to some of our outgrown beliefs systems.
> Crystal healing can assist in revisiting those beliefs, letting go of the ones that no longer serve us, replacing them with more up to date views of life and what it means to be alive for each one of us, as well as find purpose and peace in our daily life.

Robin Johnson LMT
Program: HHP Sky Yourself Emotional Healing Teacher (2022 via Zoom)
With more than twenty-five years of professional experience, Robin Johnson is a student and practitioner of the healing arts. From a young age, she was told that she had healing hands and a childhood near-death experience intensified her sensitivity.
Her metaphysical pursuits began in the 1970s with the Science of Mind practitioner training, Transcendental Meditation, and yoga with Swami Satchidananda while living at his Santa Cruz ashram. Influenced by the work of Michael Harner, founder of the Foundation for Shamanic Studies, Robin expanded her knowledge of other dimensions by working with medicine men and women from the Americas, Polynesia, and Siberia as well as with plant medicines.
Robin’s studies of holistic bodywork began with Esalen massage in Big Sur, California, followed by traditional Hawaiian Lomilomi massage with Aunty Margaret Machado, a renowned kahuna and Lomilomi master. Robin’s proficiency in the healing arts expanded through amazinGRACE®, a profound spiritual energy method, and SKYourself®, an emotional release process that she now teaches. A sought-after healer and holistic massage therapist Robin works with clients locally, abroad, and online.
With her late husband Cody, Robin began her career staging concerts featuring top recording artists in California and Hawaii. Together they co-founded Great Mystery, producing engaging conferences and workshops, exceptional tours to ancient sites, and interactive online video programs with outstanding thought leaders to integrate and apply the insights gained in purposeful ways.
Echoing her previous career in music, Robin is also the executive producer of the online radio station Café Cody, featuring evocative chill-out, jazz, and world fusion. After 20 years of live-streaming, Cafe Cody is now available on Spotify.
After living many years in Hawaii, Robin now teaches on the beautiful Mediterranean island of Mallorca where she continues to create events to uplift, inspire, and cultivate an awareness of our interconnection and community.
In her spare time, Robin is an avid reader, enjoys yoga and Pilates, gentle walks, and nurtures her spirit by discovering places of beauty in the company of friends.

Melia Goodenow -Hawaiian Flower Essences
HHP HMT students learn about aroma therapy, essential oils and Hawaiian flower essences. Our classroom is in Hawaii’s beautiful nature, in the kitchen, in the lab learning to create tinctures, massage oils and flower remedies, and in the massage clinic as we learn some of the many therapeutic uses (and contra-indications) of healing plants in hands-on practice. We have several instructors for in-depth training. We travel as a week long school field trip to Big Island to Volcano and the rain forest to study with master teachers and learn in nature and attune with the elements of Fire and the Forest; Pele and Hi’iaka.
Melia Goodenow – Flower Essences
“flower essences contain therapeutic benefits that aid in soothing and balancing the emotions and managing everyday choices. Flower essences are the healers of the modern age, going to the root of our problems and emotional issues. They release us from hurtful and fearful memories that tie upon our health and energy; opening up once blocked areas to then be filled with the health and peace of the present moment. In the present moment is where we can see clearly and make good, healthy choices for our lives.”
Based on training passed down to their family from Kahuna La’au Lapa’au and other native plant medicine healers, Hawaiian Rainforest Naturals, Inc. has been making Hawaiian flower essences and body care treatments for over 25 years. Co-founder, Melia Goodenow will be giving these workshops focusing on the special attributes of Hawaiian plants, flowers and their essences.
“Flower essences are designed to help you meet the challenges of everyday living. Our mission is to help people bring their emotions into a state of Pono, harmony and connectedness with nature. This is the role of our flower essences, to bring people’s awareness into the present moment and release emotional tension caused by past experiences or worrying about the future. In this state of Pono is where we make our flower essences, bringing the healing energy of the flowers forward. We strive to maintain Pono in all that we do. We put our integrity and Aloha into all of our products and treatments, always remembering to give thanks and to give back to the Earth by taking care of this unique and sacred place.”
Melia is a flower essence practitioner and Head teacher for HRN classes and workshops. She practices lomilomi massage, energy healing, la’au lapa’au, ho’oponopono, hula and other various Hawaiian healing arts. Her intuitive abilities and connection to nature make her workshops a transformative and amazing experience

Thai Massage (20 hours)
Program: LMT Level 2
Many people believe that the health benefits of Thai massage include lowering stress, boosting energy, and improving athletic performance.
Thai massage is a cultural healing practice that uses gentle pressure and stretching techniques to relax the whole body. This is an ancient healing practice that originated in India. It dates back to around 2,500–7,000 years ago.
The technique that Thai massage practitioners use is very different from what people in the West may be accustomed to when we hear the word “massage”. Unlike Swedish or shiatsu massage techniques, in which a person passively lies on a bed, the client lies on the floor fully clothed and participates more actively in the massage much like partner yoga or assisted stretches. The massage practitioner may use feet, hands, knees, elbows, or even special massage tools to assist in the muscle stretches that help the person feel limber and lively.
