Learn Thai Stretch Massage
Thai Massage moves the client through a series of yoga-like stretches and movements while it opens the body’s fascial lines through a combination of soft-tissue manipulation, acupressure, rhythmic compression and stretching. It includes both deep muscular and energetic work along with fluid movement.
The stretching movements in Thai Massage sessions affect the recipient’s entire body by improving flexibility, releasing both superficial and deep muscular tension, and deep relaxation with quieting of the mind.. The effect of the stretching is similar to yoga.
This is sometimes referred to as passive yoga, or “lazy person’s yoga” since the client plays only a passive role. The result leaves the recipient feeling both relaxed and energized at the same time.
