Explore the art and practice of sound healing through tuning forks, singing bowls, percussion, voice, chimes, gongs, handpans, cymbals, meditation, and nature-based sound practices.

This immersive program is designed for massage therapists, holistic health practitioners, wellness professionals, students, and anyone interested in exploring sound, vibration, rhythm, and frequency for personal or professional enrichment.

Participants will receive demonstrations, guided experiences, hands-on practice, and opportunities to create individual and group sound-healing sessions. No previous musical experience is required.

Instrument Package

Instrument packages may include tuning forks, Tibetan singing bowls, rain sticks, Sansula, Koshi chimes, rattles, bells, a water drum, and additional sound-healing tools.

Individual classes may be attended based on available space. Each instructional day includes four hours of demonstrations, experiential learning, and hands-on practice.

Osteo Tuning Forks for Myofascial Release and Bone Conductivity

Tune Up the Body and Bones

Learn how a set of three weighted osteo tuning forks may be applied to transmit vibration through the bones and surrounding connective tissues.

This experiential workshop introduces practical techniques intended to support relaxation, body awareness, myofascial release, and vibrational balance. Participants will explore tuning-fork placement and methods that may be incorporated into massage, bodywork, holistic health, and personal wellness practices.

Experience Solfeggio tuning forks used both on and around the body. This workshop explores the relationship between sound frequencies, the chakra system, emotional well-being, and the endocrine system from a holistic and energetic perspective.

Participants will practice on-body and off-body techniques, learn ways to direct sound and vibration through the energy field, and experience a guided chakra-tuning session intended to encourage relaxation, emotional balance, energetic awareness, and a deeper connection with the Bliss Body.

Ancestral Healing, Karmic Tones, Gene Codes, and Pineal Awareness

Journey into the deeper mysteries of sound, vibration, consciousness, and the energetic patterns symbolically associated with DNA and RNA.

This experiential class explores the Karmic Body, ancestral and primal energetic codes, sacred geometry, and Archangel connections through a spiritual and vibrational healing framework.

Participants will work with specialized DNA and RNA tuning forks and explore sound practices intended to encourage meditation, self-inquiry, energetic awareness, and connection with inherited and ancestral patterns.

The class also includes Pineal Gland tuning forks and guided practices focused on intuition, inner vision, and expanded states of awareness.

DNA, RNA, gene codes, and the pineal gland are presented through holistic, energetic, and symbolic traditions. This class is not intended as genetic or medical treatment.

Explore the sounds, rhythms, and frequencies associated with the Moon, Sun, planets, and greater cosmos.

Participants will work with planetary tuning forks and chimes while learning about astronomical conjunctions, lunar phases, solar cycles, and planetary alignments through an experiential, holistic, and contemplative framework.

The class includes guided meditation, listening practices, vibrational techniques, and opportunities to explore how celestial cycles may inspire personal reflection, energetic awareness, and a deeper connection with the Earth and the wider universe.

Planetary influences are presented through holistic, symbolic, and spiritual traditions rather than as medical treatment.

Introduction to Crystal and Tibetan Singing Bowls

Instructor: Katherine Fisher, L.Ac.

Explore the unique sounds, materials, qualities, and playing techniques of crystal and Tibetan singing bowls.

Participants will compare different types of bowls and experience methods for playing them both on and around the body. This hands-on class covers bowl placement, mallet selection, striking and circling techniques, sound clearing, personal sessions, individual treatments, and group sound baths.

Participants will also explore the different tones, vibrations, and effects produced by bowls made from various materials.

Guided demonstrations and supervised practice will help participants become more comfortable selecting, holding, positioning, and playing singing bowls safely and effectively.

A selection of bowls will be available for purchase.

Explore the healing and expressive qualities of rhythm, beat, frequency, timing, and percussion in this lively, hands-on workshop.

Participants will experiment with rhythm sticks, rattles, shakers, and other sound-making tools while learning how steady beats and changing rhythms may influence movement, attention, energy, relaxation, and group connection.

The class includes guided rhythm exercises, call-and-response activities, timing practice, creative sound exploration, and an interactive group jam.

Awakening and Activating the Voice

Explore the joy and healing potential of the human voice through singing, toning, humming, breath, and intentional sound.

This experiential workshop invites participants to gently open and energize the throat chakra—our center of communication, truth, and creative expression.

Through guided vocal exercises and shared song, participants will explore ways to release tension, build confidence, deepen self-expression, and experience the natural resonance of their own voices.

The class also explores the connection between the throat and heart centers, using sound and song to encourage emotional openness, authentic communication, joyful connection, and a deeper relationship with oneself and others.

No previous singing or musical experience is required. Every voice is welcome.

Heavy Metal Sound Healing

Gongs, Handpans, Cymbals, and Tibetan Singing Bowls

Instructor: Wayne Bow

Experience the powerful sounds and vibrations of large metal instruments, including symphonic gongs, Chau gongs, handpans, cymbals, and Tibetan singing bowls.

Participants will explore different mallets, striking techniques, playing positions, volume control, rhythm, resonance, and methods for blending instruments into a balanced sound experience.

The class includes demonstrations and hands-on practice designed to build confidence in playing gongs and other resonant metal instruments safely and intentionally.

The workshop concludes with an immersive gong bath, allowing participants to experience the layered tones, overtones, vibrations, and deeply relaxing atmosphere created by these powerful instruments.

No previous musical experience is required.

Final Practicum

A Sound Bath Offering for Nature

Connecting with Hawaiʻi’s Natural Beauty Near Diamond Head

On the final day of the Sound Healing Practitioner program, participants will work together to prepare and present an intentional outdoor sound bath as an offering to nature.

Drawing upon the instruments, techniques, and practices explored throughout the training, the group will create a sound journey inspired by the elements of Fire, Earth, Air, Wood, and Water.

Participants will explore how rhythm, tone, vibration, silence, and intention may be woven together to encourage balance, natural flow, gratitude, and connection with the living environment.

This practical closing experience includes guidance on:

Selecting, packing, and safely transporting instruments
Preparing an outdoor sound-healing space
Connecting with the surrounding landscape and elements
Organizing instruments and participant placement
Opening and closing intentional or sacred space
Presenting a balanced group sound bath
Respectfully restoring the natural setting afterward
Come prepared to collaborate, listen deeply, connect with the elements, and witness the magic that can unfold when sound, intention, community, and Hawaiʻi’s natural beauty come together.
